A Little bit of Documentation won’t take much of a time
When it comes to any language, documentation about the functionality is more important than the code itself. You can make the code work once and leave, but when it comes to maintenance about some time later, you or someone else wouldn’t have a clue about why, who and what is the functionality in front of you so, do document.
Below is an example of from my previous post. Now some of you might understand the functionality of the below XQuery by just looking and some might after some time and some will take a bit of time.
Now, lets see how a little bit of effort in documentation can help you understand and read the XQuery better in future by yourself and by others as well.
Below is an update XQuery.
To me, now entire functionality is open at any time, anywhere & for anyone. So lets make coding languages a better place by documenting them with style and meaning.
