Coding Challenge Series – Challenge 0305

May 4, 2019 by Abhishek Tanwar

Now that Avengers end game it out, let’s have something in same lines. Now we all know that Jarvis got replaced by Friday if we followed the end game. When Tony asks to shutdown all doors just before Hulk snaps fingers and when Tony about to die and Pepper asks for Tony’s health status. So yeah!

This is all about implementing Friday to do few tasks in your day 2 day.

Objective

  • To implement a command line tool that when booted should greet you up with text/sound
  • You should be able to interact with it via text/speech
  • You should enable it to do 3 tasks in your day 2 day work automatically.

Task Examples:

  • “Friday, Open my eclipse workspace”
  • “Friday, Do I have any new mails?”
  • “Friday, I think you are running a bit slow”
    • This should clean temp folders, delete recycle bin etc.

Recommendations:

  • The actual use case is python based but feel free to use any programming language.
  • Natural Language Processing (NLP) can also be used if some of you are interested in that area.
  • Machine Learning (ML) is core of the use case but we are not all experts in ML so this is for those who want to try it. Data set can be created with standard english dataset or cloud ML+NLP can also be used.
  • Improvise.

Guidelines

  • Any programming language can be used.
  • Evaluation will be based on efficiency, improvised use cases delivered
  • Sound/Speech is +plus points
  • Github public repository URL to be shared as submission entry.
  • Challenge ends on 9th May 2019.
